HellMutt

Met Billy of Hellmutts at Bornfree3 and he was super cool. Dropped off this old fullface I had for a reline and he did a bang up job for a good price. He threw in this killer shirt and some stickers as well.

Vl Frame progress

Made some real good progress on my frame last weekend. The prior "customizers" thought they would do it rite by welding shitty plates to the axle plates in order to mold it in. Got the motor to fit in as well.

All cleaned up like it should be to show off those nice HD castings.
Cutting seat post section is a must when fitting an overhead valve motor is these old VL frames.
Thought Id be tricky and leave the cool rib on the bottom.
Ended up taking it all out like everyone else does.
Nice motor clearance.
A rough Idea of how she'll look.

A good one for sure.

Thanks to all who came by our little booth and checked out our new shovelfinboxes. It was cool meeting you all and talking with old freinds and new. We got what we thought was a great response. When guys like Irish Rich, Rico Fodrey, And Keino to name a few give us the good nod that tells me were doing something rite. We trucked our test bike there to make time but were able to ride it back and put some good test miles on it. I'm happy to say it didnt miss a beat. This is the first HD motor weve built from the crank on up. The guy riding next to Mike Pepper was a super cool bro we met named Frank and he blasted the whole way home with us on a borrowed late model FXR.
